Introduction

These Terms of Service (“ToS”) govern the use of the software application (“the App”) developed and owned by CTG Networks Quaternion Systems (Pty) Ltd, registered in South Africa. By purchasing, downloading, or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using the App.

Purpose of the Software

The App is designed to assist users in reverting files stored in Google Drive to their previous versions, and it renames them to their original file extensions.

Example:
Consider a file named cost_document.pdf.ransomwarexample (file version 7). The App reverts this to cost_document.pdf.ransomwarexample (file version 6) and renames it back to its original state: cost_document.pdf.

Usage Terms

  1. One-Time Purchase: The App is available for purchase as a one-time transaction through the Google Plugin Store.

  2. No Resale: You are not permitted to resell or distribute the App in any form.

User Responsibilities

  1. Data Safety: The App does not delete data. Users can manually revert back to the ransomware-affected version if needed. The responsibility of managing and verifying data integrity rests with the user.

  2. Repeated Process: Running the App multiple times on the same files will not cause any adverse effects.

Limitation of Liability

CTG Networks Quaternion Systems is not responsible for any data damage resulting from the use of the App. The success of the reversion process may vary depending on the type of ransomware or other factors beyond our control.

Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Ownership: The App and its underlying code are the sole property of CTG Networks Quaternion Systems (Pty) Ltd.

  2. Restrictions: Users are prohibited from copying, modifying, distributing, or reverse-engineering the App without explicit permission.
